We love our Football and miss it still...

Past masters of Bangladeshi & community football battle it out in the inaugural 6-a-side tournament to determine who is the best of the veterans.

The event is being organised by Sonali Otith (Golden Past) in conjunction with NHS Omani Trust Health Trainers. The organisers hope this will be an annual event.

Sonali Otith is at the forefront in promoting football for the over 35's in the community   and inspiring a healthy lifestyle amongst its participants.  Organising weekly training, taking part in organised leagues such as the BFA summer league.  It also organises international tours and has international football contacts and very strong community links.

The following teams will be participating:

1) Mohammedan Sporting Club (London)

2) Stepney FC

3) Shadwell FC

4) New Ark FC

5) Beaumont FC  

6) BYM FC

7) Poplar FC

8) West End FC

Although this year it is by invitation only, the organisers are envisaging opening up to other teams next year.  The winners and runners up will be awarded with trophies.  All participants will receive medals.
